For the last couple of weeks I have been trying, on and off, to learn CSS so I could design a funky new website that would be easy to maintain and alter without having to redo all the pages each time. No such luck. CSS is cool but there are way too many incompatibilities with how each browser displays them to make it easy to figure out by yourself. Firefox supports more of the specification and hopefully IE7 will do the same job when it gets pushed out widely but you have to cater for the other 80% of the market that will be looking at your site with IE6. Gaarh!!
Anyway, after doing waaaay to many bad mockups I have decided on a design that looks similar to the old site but is more clean and will hopefully focus on our photos in every section.
Ya gotta show them off somehow :)
I raped and pillaged the CSS from a tutorial to create frames and genetically engineered the hell out of it. Now all I have to do is figure out how to use java script and PHP and it should come together :P
Here is a mockup of what I want it to look like
