Droplets

On the weekend I decided to try out the classic freezing water droplets with a strobe picture. I setup a shallow dish with a solid white backĀ  ground and my lens about 30 cm away. My Strobe was resting on a CD case to camera left connected via a cable.

I didn’t have anywhere to hand a small plastic bag I used to drip the water in the container so I just held it by hand which isn’t the best way. Ideally I should have set my focal point in the exact spot the drop would form and fixed the bag to a stand which would have given me a 100% hit rate but because I was waving my arm around, a lot of the pix turned up blurry. Never mind though, I did get a couple of nice ones and had a bit of fun doing it.
